There is a strong tradition and know-how in the production of olive oil in Portugal, giving rise to high quality, internationally recognized products (winning prizes worldwide), making Portugal one of the world's major olive oil producing countries.

All oils sold by Genuinum are characterized as being extra virgin olive oil. These olive olis have as its unique hallmark purity and integrity of flavour, the fruit of direct extraction of the cold "olive juice" from the press, which ensures all the intrinsic qualities of olive oil, as well as a wholesome and true flavour. The degree of acidity is always less than 0.8%. All oils sold by Genuinum are extracted a few hours after the olives have been picked from the tree to ensure the highest quality and richness of flavour.

In the portfolio of oils marketed by Genuinum, pride of place goes to those from olive trees native to Portugal, namely the Galician Olive (Galega Vulgar) and the Cobrançosa which provide a fruity bite. Additionally, there are also marketed by Genuinum scented olive oil, where the richness of the exceptional olive oil flavour is combined with the distinct flavour of fresh herbs and spices.

Additionally, the portfolio has olive oils certificated named Protected Designation of Origin (PDO). This designation attests to the regional link of the product, which comes from raw materials typical of the region, handled and processed according to traditional techniques and procedures in the same region.
